Celery seed is traditionally associated with the digestive, urinary and musculoskeletal systems. In Aromatherapy it is often recommended for digestive complaints such bloating, cramping and flatulence. It's anti-spasmodic and diuretic properties make it useful in blends for muscle and joint pain as well as PMS complaints, especially where fluid retention and/or bloating are present.
Celery seed oil is also often recommended to assist with relaxation and sleep.
