Apple Cider Vinegar
A premium apple cider vinegar, produced from the best apples and crafted like a fine wine. Unfiltered, unpasteurised, unmessed with. This apple cider vinegar is matured in oak barrels to develop the flavour before being bottled.
Apple Cider Vinegar is made in a two-step process. First, the crushed apples are exposed to yeast, which ferments the sugars and turns them into alcohol. Next, special bacteria are added to the alcohol solution, which further ferment the alcohol and turn it into acetic acid. This is the main compound in vinegar.
Organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar also contains the “mother” - these are the strands of proteins, enzymes and friendly bacteria that give the product a murky, cobweb-like appearance. Some people believe that the “mother” is responsible for a number of health benefits.
