Most commonly known for its Biblical references, Myrrh is also used in perfumery where its woody, warm, aromatic and pungent notes work well with oriental-type fragrances.

Cosmetic grade oils are particularly useful for fragrancing cosmetic, personal care and home care products where the properties of the essential oil may not be necessary and a cheaper alternative is desirable.
