Description

Hemp seed oil is pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant, also known as Cannabis sativa. In fact, hemp seed oil is prized for its essential fatty acids: a whopping 80 percent, the highest of any plant.

Please note, Hemp Seed oil does not contain CBD or THC and so is not suitable for the therapeutic and recreational applications of these constituents.

Good for:

  • Cardiovascular health: With a 3:1 Omega-3/Omega-6 ratio, hemp seed oil is the perfect balance of essential fatty acids for maintaining healthy cholesterol levels and heart function
  • Brain health: DHA is essential for cognitive function and memory
  • Skin, hair and nails: The structure of hemp seed oil is nearly identical to our own cells, which means it is absorbed quickly and easily. Excellent for nourishing dry skin, blotches and lesions.

Lovey carrier oil for face oil

Light, nourishing, and absorbent.

Note it does carry a very strong green scent. For my face oil, I added ylang ylang and rose geranium EO, both I regard as strong scented oils, but all I can smell after each application is still hemp :D

So you do need to love the smell to fully enjoy its benefits.
