Due to the nature of the volcanic ash and the fresh glacial water environment, it also contains other healing clays such as kaolinite, illite and montmorillinite.\u003c\/p\u003e\nBentonite Clay is composed of aged volcanic ash. It is unique in that it has the ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. When mixed with water, its electrical components change, allowing it to absorb toxins. It is low comedogenic (1 out of 5) and non-irritating. It has acanthotic activity, meaning it can help increase skin thickness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eRicinoleic acid is soluble in alcohol (but not water) and oil.
