Does not come out Green

I made some melt and pour soap using this Emerald mica. Unfortunately when mixed with white melt and pour it turned out grey and when I mixed it into clear melt and pour it was a vivid gold. Not quite the xmas (green swirl) pine scented soap I was planning.
