We did not experience any acceleration, but there was a significant amount of separation of the oils and water without ricing. This fragrance will be tricky to work with and will take some patience. We recommend keeping a backup stick blender handy. The batter took an extended amount of time to come to a light trace, and once the stick blender stopped it separated. We would blend for 2-3 minutes and then hand stir to give the stick blender a break. When we notice the batter came to what we thought was a very thick trace we stopped blending. After a gentle stir, the batter thinned back to a soupy-consistency. We repeated this process three times before it finally held at a medium trace with no separation. The batter was easy to manipulate, did not stiffen, and poured into the mold well. After 24 hours, the scent was strong, and there was no discoloration. We did observe signs of a partial gel. After the cure, the soap was a light yellow shade, and the scent was strong. While this fragrance can be problematic to work with, the finished bars look great and smell amazing.
