A soft flour produced from dried coconut meat, coconut flour is a natural byproduct of coconut milk. It is made by drying coconut meat at a low temperature and then grinding it into a soft, fine powder.

Why use it?

Coconut flour is naturally gluten-free, which makes it great for gluten-free baking. It is also rich in protein, fibre and certain nutrients including manganese, Vitamin C and thiamin.
It's also a good source of lauric acid; a saturated fatty acid which helps to support healthy skin.
