Peppermint oil is a well-deserved favourite, invigorating to the body and mind and helpful to clear congestion and unwanted heat.

Please note, during colder months the menthol in this oil may crystalise causing the oil to solidify, stand the bottle in hot water to liquefy before use.

Nature/Essence – Invigorating & Clearing

Peppermint oil helps clear congestion and heat, and has local anaesthetic and antiseptic properties – great for itching, redness and irritation of the skin or scalp. Use sparingly and well diluted as it can be a skin irritant itself, and has a profound cooling effect.

Peppermint’s cooling and relieving action is the best where heat and congestion are predominant. Great in foot rubs or foot baths, and massage blends for sore muscles and joints after sports, exertion or from standing all day. Also helpful for neuralgia and bruising. Its clearing aroma is great as an inhalation for nasal, sinus or chest congestion to open up the airways. Apply to temples or use as an inhalation for headaches and toxic congestion from overindulgence or digestive problems. The fresh aroma of Peppermint is ideal to help ease travel sickness and nausea. A few drops on a tissue can be discreetly inhaled for quick relief during times of need. Applied to the abdomen it is wonderful to soothe an upset digestive system including bloating, spasms, flatulence, colic, and to stimulate liver and gallbladder function.

Peppermint clears the head, refreshing during times of mental fatigue and encouraging concentration and clear thinking. Great in study or work blends, and instils a cool, calm and collected atmosphere in times of anger, nervous tension and heated emotions.

Peppermint oil is a favourite in household cleaning blends for its antiseptic qualities and fresh clean scent. Also a great oil to diffuse to clear and refresh the energy in a room.

The best brand ever.

I use heaps of Peppermint for my pain levels, and only found this brand 2 years ago. I cannot speak highly enough of this brand. I have tired many brands over these past 20 years, but this one surpasses all expectations. I use it up to 4 times a day, and it works for me, better than any pain killer that has been forced down my throat. So thank you for making this oil.

Peppermint oil

The oil is excellent, I use it in our bedroom at night and as a room fragrance round the house. Mixing it with lemon adds extra fragrance. I will be purchasing more probably next month.
