Spanish Sage oil has antiseptic and astringent properties and aids skin repair for minor wounds, sores, weeping eczema, and in mouthwashes, gargles and scalp tonics. It is said to help excessive perspiration, making it a good addition in deodorant blends and during menopause.
Spanish Sage is used for menstrual discomfort or irregularity, and helps stimulate circulation and ease aching muscles and joints. As an inhalation it helps ease respiratory congestion and tightness, and it also stimulates digestion and liver function. Spanish Sage makes a good tonic in times of debility and convalescence.
