Great as a snack or added to almost any dish. Sunflower seeds are the healthy way to deal with hunger pangs!

Phytosterols and healthy fats are abundant in sunflower seeds. Research has shown that, of the most commonly-eaten seeds, sunflower seeds and pistachios are richest in phytosterols. Phytosterols help to balance oestrogen levels, which is particularly beneficial during hormonal flux. 

Sunflower seeds are also a great source of Vitamin E, a heart-healthy antioxidant. Magnesium and selenium are also on hand - both of which are needed for healthy muscle function and repair. 

Toss sunflower seeds into smoothies or over salads, or eat alone as a delicious snack.
