Those seeking a gluten-free alternative to soy sauce will delight in this delicious organic Tamari. Tamari is a wider class of soy sauces, but made with no (or very little) wheat, while traditional soy sauce does contain wheat.

A Japanese form of soy sauce, Tamari is traditionally made as a byproduct of miso paste. It has a darker color and richer flavour than the common Chinese soy sauce. It is also lower in sodium than soy sauce.

Tamari is rich in several minerals, and even a good source of vitamin B3, protein, manganese, and tryptophan.

Great in stir-fries, as a marinade or a dipping sauce.
