Jasmine is one of the most expensive oils due to the large amount of flowers needed to make the oil – around 8000 flowers make only 1ml of essential oil – which must be picked by hand at night when the exquisite scent is strongest. Jasmine is used extensively in India during weddings, celebrations and religious ceremonies, and is considered the King of essential oils, with Rose the Queen.

Jasmine is a favourite for skin care, especially for dry or irritated skin. A nice choice for those whose skin condition is affecting their mood and confidence. |

FOR THE BODY
Jasmine is a valuable oil during labour to aid the birthing process, both physically and mentally. It is also a great oil for post-natal recovery, and is helpful for menstrual spasms. Jasmine’s positive effect on the emotions means it can help with many physical conditions that are associated with emotional problems and nervous debility. |
|
FOR THE MIND
Jasmine oil works primarily on the emotional level, having both a calming and uplifiting effect on the nervous system.
