Equipment

Glass Beaker or small Jug
Glass pyrex jug/bowl or stainless jug/ bowl
Saucepan that will fit the bowl on top
Small spatula or spoon for stirring
Digital Scales
Mould

Method

  1. Weigh out the first 5 ingredients into the pyrex jug or stainless bowl and place into/over the saucepan (double boiler method) to melt until liquid.
  2. Weigh the fragrance/essential oil and Microcare PHG into the small beaker and set aside.
  3. Weigh the Provitamin B5 and set aside.
  4. When the first mix has melted take off the heat and set aside to cool down a little, when it has cooled but is still liquid add both beaker ingredients and stir well. If it starts to set just pop it back onto the heat briefly.
  5. While still liquid pour into your chosen mould and leave it overnight to set. The next day pop it out of the mould and its ready to use.
  6. To use gently swipe over wet hair in the shower then rinse off.

Suggested Alternatives: You can use your favourite essential oil or fragrance (just check to see if skin safe).  You could change the Argan Oil for another hair loving vegetable oil.

Double Boiler

Half fill a saucepan with water, bring to the boil and reduce to a gentle simmer.

Place the ingredients into a pyrex jug or stainless-steel jug small enough to fit inside the saucepan and best if the handle goes over the outside of the pot. If using a bowl carefully place the bowl on top of the saucepan.
