Equipment

10 Clamshell soap moulds

Digital Scales that go down to 1g
Two Glass Pyrex jugs
Stirring spoon or spatula
Isopropyl alcohol in a misting/spritzer bottle

Method

  1. Melt the clear soap in the microwave (1min bursts) until liquid. Add the pink mica, kiwifruit seeds and 10mls of watermelon fragrance and mix well. Pour into the moulds so they are 2/3rds full.
  2. Melt the white soap in the microwave (1min bursts) until liquid. Add the green mica and 5mls of watermelon fragrance and mix well.
  3. When the pink soap has formed a thin skin and feels strong enough to support another layer of soap spray one pink soap with isopropyl alcohol then immediately and very carefully pour the green soap layer on top of the pink. Repeat these steps for each soap. Ensure you leave enough room for the lids to close. Let the soaps harden and they are ready!
