Description

Decyl Glucoside is an extremely mild and gentle non-ionic surfactant. It is recommended for sensitive skin, facial wash products, shampoo and body washes and generates exceptional fine and stable foam.

PureNature Decyl Glucoside is derived from coconut oil and corn sugars, is completely biodegradable and performs well in hard water conditions. Several clinical skin irritant tests show decyl glucoside to be non-irritating, even at high concentrations with an extended contact period of 24 hours. Decyl glucoside works best in a pH of between 4 and 12.

Gentle cleanser, with lovely foam

While the alkalinity necessitates significant pH adjustment to make the final product skin friendly, I love how gentle and yet effective this is.
