Description

Our Lip Balm Base is the easiest way to make your own all natural lip balm. New Zealand Beeswax, Shea Butter and Carrier Oils are used to make a nourishing and hydrating lip balm. Proudly made in New Zealand.

The lip balm base comes in a 50g size, you can melt it all down or just what you need - depending on your tube and tin size.

How to use:

Melt the base using a double boiler, a microwave in short bursts, or a pot on the stovetop at a very low heat, you do not want to boil or burn the base.
Then add your lip balm flavour (usually 2.5mls per 50g of base), and in you want to make a tinted lip balm - mica for colour.
Stir thoroughly and then pour into a tin or a tube and leave to cool for a few hours.

Lip balm base

First time I've used this from Pure Nature. Found it very stiff when cool (no doubt better in summer) and very oily when warmer.

Will add more shea butter or similar if I use this again.

Very soft natural base

Very natural and soft on the lips and makes them shiny and glistening. I made the unscented ones with easy to melt and pour base as myself and daughter and friends like the unflavoured lipbalm. If buying just the base not the kit I would get a syringe to help pour it out making a mess or wasting any as it goes hard and sets quickly.
