I recently tried this sugar scrub after seeing the gorgeous picture in the recipe section here.
The texture is nice—it’s gritty enough to exfoliate but not overly harsh. It does leave my skin feeling smoother after use.
I was pleased as to how long the fragrance lasted on my skin too.
However, I found the formula a bit too oily, with excess oil raising to the top of the formula and the oil spilt out of the container.
I had to use Dark Cane Sugar, so the colour of my scrub wasn't the delightful pink from the recipe picture.
Overall, it’s not a bad scrub. I will make it again, this time with the trade aid cane sugar to see if I can get mine looking like the recipe picture.
Wanted to try this for an exfoliation mix. I am very happy with it.
