Beaker
Mixing Bowl
Silicone Spatula/Spoon
Digital Scales that go down to 0.1g
2 x Aluminum medium screw top tins

Method

  1. Weigh the shea butter, coconut oil & emulsifying wax into a heat safe bowl and use double boiler to melt until liquid. Remove from the heat once melted.
  2. Weigh the sweet almond oil, E-leen and serenity fragrance into a beaker and stir. Add the mica and stir well, add to the melted ingredients.
  3. Weigh the quartz crystal body scrub and trade aid cane sugar into a separate mixing bowl.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the scrub/sugar blend. Mix all ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Spoon into tins or jars and leave to thicken and cool before popping the lids on.
  6. Enjoy your scrub! 😊

Double Boiler
Half fill a saucepan with water, bring to the boil and reduce to a gentle simmer.
Place the ingredients into a pouring pitcher, tempered glass or stainless steel jug small enough to fit inside the saucepan and best if the handle goes over the outside of the pot. Carefully place the bowl onto the simmering water.

Suggested Alternatives:

- You can customise by choosing your own fragrance & mica.
- Sweet Almond Oil can be replaced by another carrier oil.
