Description

Everlasting is a complex oil with many applications to maintain the health of the skin, body and mind. The wide array of uses may have led to its rather compelling name.

Nature/Essence – Healing & Renewing

Everlasting is a premier skin oil to calm reactivity and regenerate the skin, specifically recommended for chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other allergic skin reactions. It speeds healing and renewal, and is one of the best oils to prevent scarring or minimise old scars or stretch marks.

Helpful for stimulating the lymphatic system to aid detoxification and cleanse congested tissues. It is said to have a beneficial effect on the liver and gallbladder when applied in a compress or massage oil. Also used as an inhalation for respiratory ailments to break up mucus in the sinuses or chest, and ease spasmodic coughs. Everlasting is also useful to ease muscle and joint aches and pains, and aid healing of soft tissue injuries, strains and bruises.

The healing properties of Everlasting also apply here, said to help heal both old and new emotional wounds and provide a warming, grounding effect. It is suggested for emotional distress, negativity and resentment especially associated with repressed or unresolved issues, and for those suffering nervous exhaustion from being rigid, over-controlled and ‘too much in their head’. It is also said to increase dream activity.
