Description

Turmeric has attracted much popularity and scientific study due to its now well-documented anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity, and has historically been used in India for many different ailments. This is a pungent and powerful oil with a wonderful bright yellow colour – it can stain clothing and linen so dilute well and take care after use.

Nature/Essence – Warming & Calming

Turmeric oil helps calm aggravated skin conditions including eczema, acne and psoriasis and has a place in anti-aging and brightening skin care due to its protective antioxidant properties (use sparingly, may temporarily stain the skin due to the intense yellow colour of the oil).

The principal use for Turmeric oil is to soothe and loosen stiff aching joints and rheumatic conditions. It helps ease fluid retention and is also used to stimulate digestion function and healthy elimination. It can be helpful to apply to the lower back or abdomen to ease menstrual discomfort and bloating.

Turmeric is balancing and calming, having a warming tonic effect on the mind and body.

Studies show Turmeric oil has insect repellent properties – blend with oils such as Citronella or Lemongrass to create a natural insect repellent spray.

My holy grail

Add a few drops to glycerin and store it. I use it instead of a body moisturizer. Keeps the skin well hydrated.

Just a few drops as it might leave stain.

Great

I bought this to use with my facial oil for hyperpigmentation. It’s only been a few weeks and im not sure if its made a difference. But i’ve also mixed a few drops of this with coconut oil and a few drops of clove oil and applied it onto my itchy scalp for dandruff, i left on for an hour before washing off. That seems to bring relief for a few days. So i will be using it for that. Thanks pure nature for giving me the opportunity to share a review
