Description

Please note: this is a different product to Indigo Dye Powder 

The indigo plant has a long history of use as a natural dye for hair and textiles. Indigo leaves contain a substance called Indigotin which has a deep, denim blue colour. However, the leaves must be processed in order to extract this pigment.

Indigo gives a natural violet/blackish colour to hair and is often used in combination with Henna to create different shades of brown and black. It is safe and can also be used as a green colourant for cold process soap.

This product is for external use only.

Indigo Powder

This is my first time used Indigo Powder for dye my grays after Henna.

Natural hair toner

Perfect for toning and cooling down the red from henna coloured hair. I've been searching for a green indigo like this which counteracts the bright red from henna and creates a beautiful cool shade brunette.

If you've tried the popular violet indigo and it doesn't look good with your skintone..then try this one..it gives a more cool ashy shade for fair skin tones. I mix it with cassia (colourless henna) and it calms down the brassy colour ( from previous red henna) in my hair.
