INCI:Indigofera Tinctoria Leaf Powder

Please note: this is a different product to Indigo Dye Powder

The indigo plant has a long history of use as a natural dye for hair and textiles. Indigo leaves contain a substance called Indigotin which has a deep, denim blue colour. However, the leaves must be processed in order to extract this pigment.

Indigo gives a natural violet/blackish colour to hair and is often used in combination with Henna to create different shades of brown and black. It is safe and can also be used as a green colourant for cold process soap.

This product is for external use only.

Indigo

It's fine. I'm going to purchase the actual blue indigo powder next time, although there are uses for the green powder as well.

Great natural hair colour

Does a good job when used with henna on grey hair - just wish it didn't grow out so fast!

Great product!

I use this indigo for my 2 step henna dying process..allergic to peroxide..and greying!

It mixes well in to a paste with water, no lumps or bits and is really fresh
