You barely have to use any of this since it's 1:200 ratio. It's very impressive and I can't wait to use it in gels for soothing sun exposure and rashes.
I use aloe Vera power to make natural hair mask and shampoo.
This powder dissolves easily within the water/ hydrosol phase (quickly in a heated phase, be patient when cold!). I enjoy the fact that I only need a tiny amount to produce a great final product result. I am quietly confident that this has helped calm my son's skin.
Add to a Hydrosol, as your water component for extra healing and some Xanthan Gum to make into a gel
Description
INCI: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice
It is then freeze dried to produce a product without additional additives or preservatives. Freeze drying acts to preserve most of the long chain polysaccharides found in the fresh leaf. One gram of Aloe Vera Powder is the equivalent of 200g of fresh aloe juice.
Please note: this product will not produce a gel when reconstituted. Aloe Gel does not exist in nature and can only be made with the addition of a gelling agent for example Xanthan Gum or Carbopol.
Uses
Care
This product is anhydrous and should be stored with care. As soon as it is exposed to the air it will begin to absorb moisture so it must be kept in and air tight container. Once reconstituted it should immediately be preserved as the reconstituted juice is a very favourable environment for microbial growth. This product is intended for external use only
