Description

Blended Waxes® Pillar Blend (BW-921) is an all-natural soy wax for pillars, votives, wax melts, and tarts. BW-921 is 100% soy wax and is packaged in pastille form for ease of use.

BW-921 exhibits strong scent throw, vibrant colours, and excellent mould release. It is a great natural wax for creating smooth and creamy structural candles and melts that resist frosting. Produced from US Grown Soybeans.

Heat to 85°c using a double boiler. Add up to 6% of fragrances, remove from heat, and stir for two minutes. Pour at 77°c (+/-5°c). Allow candles to cure for two weeks for optimal fragrance throw.

Great product

An excellent product, easy to work with, takes colour well, pours well, and no frosting. Also works great in small and detailed silicone molds, when cured they come away clean and hold their shape.

Harder than soya wax GW 464

It is a bit harder than my previous GW 464. My previous wick works fine on 464 but not on 921 so I need to add homemade wick to get around it. The good thing is that unlike 464, 921 doesn't produce charcoal around my candle cups. See my photo.
