Description

Marshmallow's mucilaginous properties make it an excellent treatment for inflammed mucous membranes. 

Medicinally, it may be used to support inflammation of the gastric mucosa, and for irritation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa.

Marshmallow may also be combined with other herbs into a tonic for mild respiratory symptoms such as sore throat and cough.
