Description

Nettle (known as stinging nettle) has been used traditionally for thousands of years as food and medicine. Classed as a nutritive plant for its high levels of vitamins and minerals.

Known for its anti-inflammatory properties for musculoskeletal complaints, it can also help with seasonal allergies and has mild diuretic properties.

It can be used to make a nourishing hair rinse to improve the health of the scalp and hair, and an infusion can be helpful for skin irritations, including sunburn.

No stinging here!

I love that the need to harvest this myself to save money has been removed with a great deal. I don't quite like the sting of nettle! But it's properties are great and I'm excited to work with it. I have it infusing in apricot seed oil to use in a Māmā love/kisses type balm for a busy toddlers scrapes
