Rose Otto, Bulgarian Essential Oil 100% PURE, THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL |
|
COMMON NAME | Rose otto, Rose essential oil |
BOTANICAL NAME | Rosa damascena |
PLANT PARTS USED | Flowers |
EXTRACTION METHOD | Distillation |
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN | Bulgaria |
Rose oil is one of the most beloved essential oils. It’s also one of the most expensive as the petals need to be carefully handpicked and 30 roses produce only 1 drop of essential oil – that’s around 600 roses to make a single ml! Rose Otto is steam distilled and has a lower yield thus is more expensive than Rose Absolute which uses solvent extraction to yield a higher amount of oil. A word of caution: Rose oil is in high demand for perfumery and skincare. Unfortunately, there is huge temptation for less scrupulous operators to adulterate oils. A good indication is the price - if it sounds too good to be true, it more than likely is. Nature/Essence – Sweet & Loving |
