Description

Sodium Carbonate also known as Soda Ash or Washing Soda is most commonly used in laundry powder, as it acts to 'soften' water and enables detergents to perform more effectively.  It excels at cutting through grease and grime - making it a great DIY home cleaning ingredient.

It is used broad industrial applications ranging from glass making through to food processing. 

Soda Ash Light has a finer density and size (it powder like) compared to Soda Ash Desnse.

God stuff for dishwasher powder and laundry liquid

Good deal on the 5kg bag of soda ash/washing soda.

Works well in my dishwasher powder recipe and gets dishes clean. Works out cheaper than the supermarket powder per load.

This goes into the laundry liquid recipe too. Gets clothing clean. Cottons, the easy dri man-made fabrics, gentle enough for hand knitted wool items.
