Sunflower oil is one of the most versatile oils available for personal care products as it is high in both Linoleic and Oleic Acids. This combination makes it a relatively stable but naturally nourishing oil. It has excellent emollient properties and is rich in Vitamin E which is an important antioxidant for the protection of oils in our skin.

Silky and Scentless

This high oleic sunflower oil is the perfect carrier for all skin types. I love that it is organic and the high amount of oleic acid provides a different, but important function in skin to the regular sunflower oil (high linoleic acid). Silky feeling, absorbs quickly, no smell.

Delicious Oily Goodness

Sunflower is my absolute favourite carrier oil. I love it! That finding it is so hard still annoys me after living in NZ a decade, but now I feel that I'm sorted! This is great stuff, viscous and gentle, wonderful on its own or mixed down with other base oils (50/50 with jojoba is our household go-to).
