Description

Kawakawa leaves were traditionally used topically for numerous conditions including, bruises, rheumatism, dry - irritated skin and minor cuts and infections. Kawakawa leaves contain volatile oil and two key components of this, Myristicin and Elemicin have been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties.

Great product

Seems very potent to use in healing balms, or on its own.

Kawakawa infused oil

I really love this oil. It's easy to use and is perfect for making kawakawa healing balm. I made up my own recipe. I put honey, calendar, coconut oil and a few other ingredients together to make this balm. I just love the texture and it's so gentle that it can be used on cuts, graizes and even on babies. I have very sensitive skin, so kawakawa balm is perfect. Thank you purenature for a fabulous product. It's perfect for eczema and itchy skin. Also scars.
