Coco Caprylate, also known as Cetiol C5©, is a naturally derived emollient used in cosmetics and is an excellent silicone alternative in formulations. It is an ester of fatty alcohol and caprylic acid.
It is ultra-light without the greasy feeling of oil, improves the glide of many varieties of products during application, and leaves a non-greasy, soft after-touch.
