Description
Jojoba beads are hard, odourless, free-flowing microspheres, derived from jojoba oil.
Jojoba beads are ideal for shower gels, soaps, body polishes, facial or foot scrubs and many other skin cleansing products since they provide superior oxidative stability, have emollient properties and gently exfoliate without irritating the skin.
With a melting point of around 70ºC, Jojoba beads are particularly useful in elevated temperature stability applications.
The 60/100 grade is finer than the 28/60 grade and is suited to facial scrub products as it may be too fine for body scrubs.
They may be used in formulation from 1% to 15%, depending on the desired visual effect and vigorousness of exfoliating action.
