Made from the resin of a tropical tree found throughout Central and South America, Peru Balsam has long been used as a topical healing agent and has a rich warm scent with comforting sweet and spicy tones.

Peru Balsam is used for cracked, chapped and slow-healing skin conditions including eczema, cracked heels, poorly healing wounds, and for haemorrhoid preparations. It has antiseptic and calming properties and aids healing. Use sparingly and well diluted as it can be a skin sensitiser.
As an inhalation, Peru Balsam can help open up the airways and ease bronchitis and chest congestion. It is also used for scabies, head lice and dandruff.
Peru Balsam is comforting and calming to the nervous system.
