Description

Our marine collagen peptides are sourced from New Zealand wild-caught Hoki that are now among the top percentage of global sustainable fished species after being recognised by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).

Hoki collagen peptides are a low-molecular-weight peptide, rich in Type 1 collagen which makes up a significant percentage of our skin.  Type 1 collagen is a critical building block for strong, flexible healthy skin structure.

Hoki collagen peptides have a very specific amino acid composition with a high concentration of glycine, hydroxyproline and proline. Hydroxyproline peptides support cells in the skin and assist with collagen synthesis through cell activation and growth.

These peptides have a wide range of applications due to their solubility and dispersibility, and low viscosity in aqueous solutions.

Usage: 0.5 - 5% of total formulation

To incorporate into your formulation, make a concentration using distilled water - the powder should readily dissolve. This can then be added to the cool-down stage (<40⁰C).

Hoki Collagen Peptide Powder

Created a 2% solution and preserved and used in cool down phase and didn't have any noticable smell so great to see how face cream works over time.
