INCI: Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate
Min 65% Active content
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA) is a mild surfactant, perfect for use in powdered bubble baths, shampoos, cleansing creams and bath bombs due to its excellent foam and viscosity building properties. It makes a great alternative to soap where sensitivity is a concern.
SLSA is naturally derived from palm and coconut oils and offers rich lather without the irritation potential of some other foam building surfactants. Due to its large molecular size it will not penetrate the skin, or the mucous membranes, so it will not cause the skin irritation of the sulfates, making it an excellent choice for soaks, facial cleansers and any other gentle cleansing systems.
USAGE
Non irritating to the skin up to 70%, non irritating to the eyes up to 3%
Add to water phase with gentle agitation - stable in hard water.
0.5 - 3% in skin care applications, baby products and pet products
2.0 - 10% in body washes, soaks, shampoos

This works well, nice and smooth to work with
I always felt itchy on my scalp so I have tried various shampoos even from the expensive brands. None of them solve my problem. I just think to make my own Shampoo to see whether natural ingredient may work. I use SLSA, Cetyl Alcohol, Decyl Glucoside, some actives and essential oils such as Rosemary, Tea Tree and Lavender. I have used it for about a week and amazingly I don't feel itchy on my scalp so far. It doesn't have much bubble but I really love it. I don't even need conditioner now. I will try to make it more bubbling later.
