Fruit Slices Loofah Soap

Makes approx. 4-5 bars

Microwave or double boiler method

2x Glass Pyrex jugs

Stirring spoon or spatula

Isopropyl alcohol in a misting/spritzer bottle

6 Cavity Circle Mould for the soap

1. Cut the loofah into approx. 5 slices – a bread knife is handy... be careful!!
2. Pop each loofah slice into each mould cavity.
3. Cut the clear soap into small cubes, pop approx. 1/3 in a jug and 2/3 into the other jug.
4. Melt the 1/3 clear soap in the microwave (1min followed by 30sec bursts) until liquid.
5. Now add the Kaolin clay (this creates the base), stir well, then add 5g of essential oil, and stir well.
6. Pour into each mould with the loofah (should fill approx. ¼ of mould).
7. Melt the other jug of clear soap base, then add the mica along with rest of essential oil, stir well.
8. The first pour (the base) should be hard enough, so now pour this slowly on top.
9. Lightly mist the top with the isopropyl alcohol - this gives you a smooth surface and pops all the bubbles.
10. Wait until the soap set, then pop out of the mould, wrap them up. Enjoy – ready to use!
