Glass Stirring Rod/Spatula
Digital Scales that go down to 1g
2x Glass Pyrex jugs
Isopropyl alcohol in a misting/spritzer bottle
6 Cavity Circle Mould for the soap / silicone large muffin mould

Method

  1. Cut the loofah into approx. 5 slices – a bread knife is handy... be careful!!
  2. Pop each loofah slice into each mould cavity.
  3. Cut the clear soap into small cubes and pop into a jug.
  4. Melt the clear soap in the microwave (1min followed by 30sec bursts) until liquid.
  5. Then add the mica along with the essential oil, stir well until all the mica lumps have gone.
  6. Now slowly pour this into each mould.
  7. Lightly mist the top with the isopropyl alcohol - this gives you a smooth surface and pops all the bubbles.
  8. Wait until the soap set, then pop out of the mould, wrap them up. Enjoy – ready to use!
