Paint Brush
Round Moulds (6 Cavity)

Method

  1. Weigh coconut oil and melt in 30 second bursts in the microwave.
  2. Weigh polysorbate 80 and fragrance and then add to the melted coconut oil.
  3. Weigh sodium bicarbonate and citric acid, add to a bowl and mix well with a fork. Add in the lake and bioglitter, mix well.
  4. Slowly add in coconut oil mixture and mix well at the same time.
  5. When your mixture holds together (squeeze some in your hands) it’s ready to press into the moulds, don’t pack it too hard. Leave to dry overnight.
  6. Pop them out and mix up the gold paint in a beaker. Use 1tsp gold mica and add isopropyl alcohol to create a paint (approx. 1 tablespoon). Use more mica to thicken, more isopropyl alcohol to thin.
  7. Paint on your moon with a paint brush and leave to dry.

Note: As this is a very vivid bath bomb the colour may stick on the side if the bath is dirty.  Try making sure the bath is clean before starting. And then give a clean afterwards.

Suggested Alternatives: You can change it for a different colour lake, fragrance, bioglitter.
