Description

Sodium Bicarbonate or 'Baking Soda' as it is commonly known has literally hundreds of uses, most of which have very little to do with baking!  In bath bombs, Baking Soda is not only partially responsible for the fizzing effect but also when added to bath water it acts to soften the skin.

It is a great ingredient for house cleaning products.

Is your baking soda aluminium free?
We get asked this a lot and the answer is yes, because actually all sodium bicarbonate or baking soda is aluminium free.
The confusion arises because some baking powder contains aluminium. Although baking powder does contain sodium bicarbonate, the aluminium component comes from added aluminium salts - not the sodium bicarbonate.

This product is for external use only.

Baking Soda

I buy kilo packs of this because I use it so much and good price! I add it to the water when soaking all dried beans and legumes and when washing fruit or vegetables. I put half a cup or more in the bath with similar amount of Epsom salts and lavender or whatever essential oil I am in need of. Add some Borax to this mix for a good soak for problem feet.
