Kukui & Peach Lip Balm

Makes 50g

• Kukui Oil 15gm
• Coconut Oil (extra virgin) 9gm
• Cocoa Butter 10gm
• Beeswax 10gm
• Castor Oil 3gm
• Vitamin E (mixed tocopherol) 0.5gm
• Peach Lip Balm Flavour 2.5gm
• 10 x Lip Balm Tubes or 5 Mini Tins

Large Beaker or Pyrex Jug
Microwave or Double Boiler
Scales
Thermometer

1. Weigh the Kukui Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Beeswax and Castor Oil into a large beaker.
2. Melt these ingredients using the double boiler method, take off the heat once melted.
3. Cool down to approx. 50 degrees and add the vitamin e and peach flavour oil.
4. Mix well and pour into the tubes. Cool to room temperature and pop on cap. 

TIP: put a rubber band around your tubes to hold them all together for pouring.

Suggested Alternatives:

- You can substitute the Kukui oil for another carrier oil eg. Almond, Apricot, Safflower, Argan
